does your mower die when going over rough terrain or abrupt zero turn manuvers? then 9 times out of 10 its the mercury tilt switch acting a fool

Cant seem to find this tilt switch online. I have this issue with the same zturn. Also when it starts to die, if i turn the PTO off it will continue to run (most of the time) thanks for any input and suggestions on where to get the mercury switch

Hello,
I have a Z Master 153 that dies constantly after it gets hot. Just dies in the middle of cutting the lawn. Then it starts up again? It also moves nicely without the PTO engaged. Once I engage the PTO it loses power the engine begins to make popping noises like it's missing spark that noise comes through the exhaust and it has no power to move forward. But again once I disengage the PTO it drives nicely it has power. Can you help with this issue that I have had for almost 2 years? Thanks Eric

Hello.i have a toro commercial zmaster with Koehler sp18.i get a click when I turn key to start.canjump it off with a screwdriver.i have 12 volts to solenoid but when key turned small wire does not energize the solenoid(less than 1volt) what is wrong ...fuse, wire, key switch???any help would be appreciated!

Cool!! I have an 2008 Z and I don't think mine is under the seat tho, that I have seen. I've wondered why mine does that. Rough ground it'll want to sputter right? My question though is I've been looking for a carb rebuild kit for mine and I can't seem to find one. Toro and others all the parts to the carb but not a kit. Is there a rebuild kit?
This is my engine model # FH770D-AS05-R. Any help would be very helpful. Thanks!!

Toro commercial zeroturn 2005 model year . Started fine yesterday, pulled off trailer and blades wouldnt turn on, got off mower and it died. Wont start with key, jump solenoid and it will turn over but not start .. What should i be lookin at???

hello there.. I have a toro timecutter 5050 (50inches deck) and it stops after about an hour of use. I let it cool off and it works great again. I also have another mower toro timecutter 5035 (50inches as well but rotten deck) will the deck on 5050 fit on 5035?? thanks on advance

I have TORO Z-MASTER 250 Series, the issue is when I turn the ignition the mower will crank and run but as soon as I release the ignition key an the starter disengage the mower cease to run but as long as I keep the starter engage the mower will continue to run. What is going on?

I have a Z 150 Z master (74178 210000153). Is it a 2001? After starting - unit will shut down if I release the brake. I took the brake switch out of the equation and still shuts down as soon as move control levers. Bad decal-switch, mercury? Also, will not roll backward when engine is off – is there an override value?

I have a Zero turn Z Master Z153 Toro commercial when I start it works great for about 20 minutes and as I driving it the mower just dies I have to disengage the blades put the brake on the start it up again it works for a couple minutes and does it again. When I start it I have to open the choke overtime. we took carbirator off cleaned it and put it back its still doing it we changed the filters it still doing it. It will run for 20 minutes from a cold start and then die and when we restart it after it initial start it dies within a couple minutes. Do you think its the mercury switch? Thanks Eric
