Putting Pace Distance Control - IMPROVE WITH THIS PGA PRO TIP

This pace putting distance control drill will allow you to understand the correct amount of swing and more importantly the timing of the putting swing. In this video I demonstrate no matter how far away from the hole you are the swing pace should always be the same. Thanks Anne. Great video! I've been playing for 35 years and took some time off last few years dew to illness. I'm now 74 but putting is my weakest skill now days eyes don't help in reading greens.

Very nice drill, but for those of us who primarily use public courses a bit impractical. I've yet to encounter a practice green that is (1) flat or almost flat for that distance; and (2) would allow one to commandeer that much of the green for any length of time to the exclusion of other golfers.

Thank you . The 1 2 thing, was the clicking moment for me . I just started the game at 40 . I have played for maybe 5 months tops. I’m have way decent at putting . In the sense my ball is always rolling end over end . But that’s where it stops . I just couldn’t get the speed . After watching part of the video I went right to the speed mat I have . Easy and it works . Thank you again.

Keep in mind that the principles of swinging a putter are the same as swinging an iron or driver.

This is the best drill I have ever seen for putting, excellent!

This is a great drill, Chris! I added a couple of tweaks ... half a point for a lip out and minus 2 points for a 3-putt.
