I have a friend only been married 3 yrs. Married an african man huge wedding, one child. Now getting a divorce!🤧🤧😂. He still has his african ways, other women and controlling. She should've known this was a NoGo!. Her and the little girl is back at parents hse. You're right about the whole family. Too controlling! Ny mother in law was like this and she wasnt African. Lol! Africa is diverse culturally and men and women differ. Sometimes you find it's the wife's nother who runs the home. The foundation of your union is key and whilst dating you need to get acclimatized with each other's cultures and customs before you dive in.

As my 5 years of experience, we have to submissive to our husband even they are wrong (cheating) we have no right for doing marriage counseling with his family or doctor because they will be thinking we open our issue of marriage.. All they want is we have to obey what man said and keep silence when he doing wrong (cheating, abusse) all we can do is keep praying in back and serve him like he is a king and you are his slave
