Now, this is not what you were expecting in my channel, I assume! But everybody must love Julia Child, so please enjoy this compilation nevertheless. Julia had incredible skill and talent, but she also screwed up a lot, and understood that her skill *came* from her screw-ups. That's what that whole lecture was about, and really, that was kind of a leitmotif of her show: cooking isn't an exact science, or a mystery either. It's a process that humans do that we can be good at, that we make mistakes at, that we can adapt.

Julia is just wonderful. Huge sense of humour and fun. I now watch the Anti-Chef who has a go at making all her French recipes in her two books. Had it not been for him I'd never have seen this. I can see his attraction to such a fun Queen of the Kitchen.
