WHAT SHOULD YOU PAY FOR? Canva VS Kittl for Print on Demand Designers

Hey everyone, welcome to my channel, I'm Mey :)
In today's video I want to answer a question that I have been getting asked a lot lately- which one is better- Canva or @Kittldesign ??
Now, trying to compare Canva or Kittle just on their main features will do no justice to the ACTUAL reason of the question, which is- which one should you be paying for if you could only afford one of these memberships?
I do have to say that this is my personal take on comparing the two platforms, and a lot of other print on demand sellers will no agree with me and that's totally OK!
I am also using BOTH for my business (Yes, other than print on demand, and even other than Youtube...) and i am an affiliate of both, so I really don't have much reason to choose one or the other, this is just my personal view after using Kittl for the past few months, and using Canva since... Jishhhh... I don't even know !

Kittl Pro is $10/month, right now, so you may have just talked me into it. Creative Fabrica is only $9/month, right now, I would rather have those two, and not have to worry about using an element, then, just go with Canva Free.

I think this was one of you most informative videos to date. I can relate, for I have some professional software (Photoshop) like you and it comes down to time. Do I spend the extra time to learn the many cool features of the software I own or take the easier route and use something like Kittl/Canva to do the same things, but faster. Hearing that you too have the professional software, but use this other software to save time is a relief that I'm not along in these types of decisions. Thank you I felt others should see your video, so I copied the link and added it to a few Facebook groups. I hope this helps.

This video was super helpful and made up my mind for me. I was really wanting Kittl to be enough because what I like about it I REALLY like, but using it along with Canva Free I think is the ticket! Thank you, and subbed!

I love both programs, but the fact that Kittl is more geared towards vintage, and I can use Photopea or Photoshop to warp text. I do agree, though, CF and Canva just have too many elements or graphics, and it is so overwhelming, but I don't just make vintage designs, so, that is the one reason I don't go with Kittl. I know I can bring in my own design elements, though. I think I may get CF, though, because it is only $9 after the first months, which is only $1. I am hoping to be able to get Kittl, eventually, though, because, yes, it is more geared towards POD. I am really disappointed in Canva, because if you're are paying, you shouldn't have to question whether you can use a design element or not. I wish they would separate those, make a category of elements that you are allowed to use, make another category that you have to ask to use, etc.

Very informative video. I actually have photoshop and illustrator but they are so difficult to learn. I will have to try both of these out.

I think Photoshop is still best and if you don't have the $$, Gimp is a decent alternative (if you know how to use design software). Canva is good for people that are not skilled in Adobe Suites. I think, though, that Canva does not always make the right size and people think they have a 300 dpi but it does not translate when they upload. I have seen distortion that I have had to fix for people. What you see is not always what you get. Hot tip: ALWAYS look on a rgb to cmyk conversion site because the conversion is not made in Canva. You can see how your actual saved graphics will look BEFORE you make a big mistake and send a design file to your chosen pod. I guarantee you will get one star and disgruntled buyers. As you said in one of the videos (I watched the other day), hard to come back from that. It is ok to get a few people that did not like your work (you cannot please everyone) but that should come after you have a fair amount of business. People can overlook one or two negatives out of dozens or more but not when it is one of your first sales. Always give your best cs but even go overboard to get those ratings with extra positive comments in your early days.

All good points. I wish there was one program that could do it all and all be allowed for commercial use. It's confusing to use four programs. I do love how easy it is on Canva to make seamless patterns out of your own uploaded elements though. And I used it to make a fanart book as a gift that we printed via an online service. it was easy for that. Also, I swear I'm seeing Kittl and Canva designs on Creative Fabrica.

Great video. It does come down to time and which is more efficient for an individual. I haven't tried Kittl but going to check it next week. Thanks!

Mey great info on your video. Really helped me decide which platform to pay for. It sounds like Kittl is the way to go. Would not like to be worrying about license user terms on Canva if it's so complicated.

I use both as well. Just depends on what project I'm working on.

I am new to POD, I have been using Placeit, which is nice for mockups but not for creating designs. After watching the pro and con of Canva Pro and Kittl, I am going to go with Kittl. Thanks for the videos.

Thanks for this video. I have been seeing Kittle videos from some other YouTubers that I watch and just avoided them because I already had Canva. I see now where I may be better served by Kittl. The lack of text distort in Canva is my big reason for shifting to Kittl. The trends demand that ability! I'm doing a monthly subscription right now, so I think I am going to cancel Canva and give Kittl a try before making the annual investment. I wish they did a pro version for free for a certain amount of time like Canva does.

I wish I'd heard this before I paid for a year of Canva Pro. I had no idea licensing had gotten so complicated.
