What lens are YOU using for the yellow and blue (background) shots haha ? 50mm, 35 mm?

How far away would you recommend being from your subject if shooting with a 50mm on a full frame camera?

What lens would you pick for a guy sitting and presenting board games (talking to the camera)? What lens is used on the couple 0:40-42?

I am getting a camera Sony Alpha A7iii. I need to record Indoor Interviews on green screen. Please suggest 28-70mm would work for this?

I want to do an interview with my mother. We are going to talk about her memories of times gone by. She is 87 years old but can walk an of course sit in a chair or whatever feels comfortable for her. I have a Panasonic Lumix GX85 wit a 12-32mm kit lens, and also a Lumix 25mm F/1.7 prime lens. What focal length and aperture would suit me best for this?
(I will of course use a tripod, lav mic and a soft box for lighting)

Most cameras now have face detection auto focus so you can get a shallower depth of field without losing focus. It was a game changing feature for my interviews.

Very helpful, but 2:21 (Sony A7s and Canon C100) are both full-frame?

Which lens would you suggest for a two people interview placed at the opposite side of the frame?

You mentioned the 50mm is the most natural looking lens, is that on a full frame sensor? If so, what is the most natural looking lens on a cropped sensor (i.e. Canon C100)?

Great tips that are great help. I use the EOS 750D cropped camera and i am thinking on buying the 50mm f/1.8 STM nifty fifty to shoot an interview of me and a second person being interviewed on a sofa. Do you think this could work if i move the camera away so that both persons are correct in frame? My camera has a face tracking focus mode, and i would try to work in a low ISO (200) and f/2.8 with some additional lighting. Do you think this could work?
