I think what helps women's fashion do better is how they're freely able to tap into masculine and feminine styles, whereas it tends to be more culturally frowned upon for men to step outside of the masculine styles. Because of this, women tend to have more freedom in styling their fits, which I hope is something men will be able to do freely sometime soon (and fortunately things are moving in that direction).

I don't know if I'm the only one, but the Swag style has always been dreadfully awful for me on guys, specially the guys who wore the cotton hoodies with the leather skinnies... No.

I get what you're saying, but i think 1. it's just sexual preselection in your brain. 2. In every example you given girls are combining those styles with skinny jeans or crop tops making the look more "girly" so see point 1 again. <3

You mentioned it in the techwear part with using Avant Garde elements. I feel like women can pull off all Avant Garde outfits a lot better/easier than guys can. I'm at a loss for her IG at the moment, but there was a woman who used to post a lot on r/malefashion who would style these amazing outfits all in Issey or Yohji, and so many of those fabrics, cuts, styles would just be way too costumey on a guy imo. I love it though.

As a skater, ik there's a contingency of dudes who are big on hype fashion in the scene. But female skaters like Briana King have an amazing, distinctive style all to their own. Way more interesting than the pictures you showed. Wouldn't mind y'all exploring that more moving forward.

This is a reply to Elizabeth Yelyzaveta Tiutiunnyk, but I wanted to put this as its own comment because I'd like to have a (civil) discussion from people who don't necessarily share my views.

I understand that this video features Reggie making satire about how men perceive women, but despite how much I love The Casual's videos and got a bunch of inspiration from this video, I still felt a bit weirded out.

I think it might have come across better if the satire was a bit better executed, or if alternative reasons for why women might look better were brought up.

I know that the reason that was mainly brought up (other than certain "assets") was that women tend to dig into archives. I can definitely think of a few other reasons, like women are able to mix masculine and feminine pieces within those styles which makes for interesting juxtapositions whereas for men it seems to be socially frowned upon to wear feminine pieces; women have more scope to experiment more with mixing and matching different styles and not feeling defined by one style (in my experience, men tend to like sticking to one style and often have a more limited wardrobe); women also have more different accessories, hair and make up options than men traditionally had (although it's definitely become more socially acceptable for men to accessorize with earrings, bags, make up etc). I'm sure there are so many other reasons, but reducing these to "shape" does everyone a disservice and makes it feel like there's nothing guys can do to level up their style.
