I watched some of your sims 3 let's play and I realized that sims 3 expansion packs have far more things in just one pack. I wish you will do more reviews of the sims 3 packs in the future. I laughed so much more than I played or any sims 4 let's play videos.

My theory is the bigger packs that should have gameplay dont because they know how broken the game is, they know it breaks the game when a new pack is released and that packs will be released with bugs. But even though they aren’t giving gameplay trying to fill with recycled objects or activities repacked to look new or lots of cas or build to try justify the price with less actual gameplay it’s still just as broken and still needs just as much fixing when released. They reused dynamics from growing together, the dating app is a repackaged trendi and the storage closet is a repackaged closet from get together. I love what is there with lovestruck there just isn’t enough build mode or gameplay to justify the price.

I surprisingly really liked Horse Ranch too. Yes a game pack worth of content but still really fun especially when combined with Cottage Living. Another pack which I initially hated but now like is High School Years. The CAS and Buy are really good and even though the amusement park area is a rabbit hole it's still something different to do for birthdays, dates etc. But the primary reason I like HSY is because it gives your teens life. You can go to school with them and they can make friends who come over. They have some type of purpose now (like cheerleading, "football", computer club etc.) and you can plan for graduation and send them off. It's got a lot of problems I know but at least my teens are a little interesting now.

It's crazy how perspective changes over time and how it's true that you don't know what you've got until it's gone. (Like how I really appreciate TS3 now) My worst fear is that when Project René comes out we'll eventually be saying; "Remember TS4 when the game was actually good?" 😬😆

I've been playing on PS4 with only Seasons since my laptop went up and I'm only ever tempted to buy packs because I'm bored. But knowing that that's the exact motto and trick of the sims, to get you to buy packs, I simply refuse. I only got Seasons because I hate playing with no sense of time. But besides that, EA won't be getting my money no matter how many times it goes on sale. I'm waiting for that moment they give the free packs out.

I get so annoyed that sims 4 packs are spread thin. If they combined sims 4 Horse Ranch, Cottage Living, Cats& Dog. All in one. We’d feel very different about sims 4 Expansion packs

Horses in the house always!!! But yes... my longest gameplay and generations I use the ranch and have families in for rent... 😅 and landlords never get paid and I cannot turn off the events.... my grandma goes on strike ALL the time and she'll then come over for holidays🤣🤣🤣

Though I rarely use Pets, Brindleton Bay is one of my favorite worlds. I can have a Sim live on the docks, and utilize that "open neighborhood" to do almost anything. There's a stall for buying seafood and another nearby for food. You can fish off the dock, bring your laptop to write, use the public restroom, perform music, etc. I know this is possible in most worlds but very few allow you to live at the center of it all. Tartosa, for example is beautiful, but all livable lots are far from town center. Strangerville is another of my favorite worlds, but outside of the pack-specific gameplay it is challenging to make into a "livable" world.

I see a lot of influencers like snatch, simsie and jamesturner experience a lot more bugs than I do. I suspect it's bc they have so much more packs than I do. I never got wedding, diner, any kits or expansion in the last 2 years. So I sincerely suspect the latest super buggy packs are what cause their various game breaking bugs.

For rent kinda made city living useless. Now we can build better flats than those with city living that almost always have something I complain about, usually how high the walls are in some small flats or not being able to remove traits
