Researchers Discover Glass That Self-Heals

Microscopic defects in the special glass are reversed when exposed to gamma radiation, and the discovery could pave the way for their use in extreme environments, such as space.

A physical visual if possible would increase exposure of the research; subjecting "regular" glass and this glass to the same burst, then comparing the difference with the appropriate equipment (given it exists?) would be much more impactful for me as an outsider.
