Genos has beaten most likely countless monsters unseen, Armored Gorilla, and probably other monsters in that one building he blew up when him and Saitama went into its bunker.

How can people call Naruto's animation one of the best, but this Masterpiece a crappy one? I know it does not have the charm of 1st season but still is excellent!

It's not the animation, it's the artstyle. The skin and metal shading ruins it so much. Also, good cinematography adds a lot. That's why people say that the manga has more "motion". Look at the way they adapted G4 falling. In the manga, Genos retrieves his hand while the robot falls in the background to show contrast. It makes it more impactful. You don't even feel the size and weight of it here. I don't know why they can't do that because small things like that doesn't need complicated animation. I'd even argue that this fight has a lot of animation but it just felt messy. Making the fight fast paced doesn't immediately improve it. Just frame a scene well then add moments of sakuga. I feel like they succumbed to the pressure and tried to animate it as intense as possible but they don't really understand how and it backfired.

People don't realize(nor even bother to look up) how expensive Season 1's animation was. That shit was movie quality good. So of course Season 2 looks abit quicker and not as many frames of animation as the 1st season. Not only does this pump out more episodes in a timely manner, it's not as taxing to the studio. They'll save the epic animation for the bigger battles most likely.

Absolutely no shots of them making contact. It's just the part right before the hit, and the scene right after. Last season we saw the hits connect. Why did they change the style like this?
