Basically it depends if the game engine is sensitive to latency or prefers more bandwidth.

It been like that forever.. I remember 8 years ago when I built my first pc. peoples were like bruuuh this or that it so much better just for it to be totaly pointless for the price until it became cheap. Like.. buying a 3090ti or let say amd threadripper is purely a flex unless money is of 0 concern to you. By the time it specs will really be usefuls for daily gaming you could just buy new gen stuff for 40% of the price.. Like.. why are peoples so easily baited.. does you rig run 1440p on most games above 60 fps? if yes then gg you won. Why spend 4k+ for a few extra fps that you wont even notice 99% of the times.

Even my 3080ti, 32gb of 3600 ddr4, ryzen 7 5800x feel like an overkill 70% of the times. You gotta keep in mind that most games are coming out of the door so poorly optimised that you will get bored with the game WAAAAY before they optimise it for your high end rig to truly shine while most popular titles usually run well on a mid tier rig. It all a balance between money spent vs good experience vs being 2-4 years future proof in my opinion.

I'd love to see this test on modded minecraft (e.g. Better Minecraft) as my understanding is it's very ram dependant.

Response, the pc games doesn't need the ddr5 for running properly. it's too ealy

But if you want to play at this, go buy a motherboard, the ram and a big LG 8K
