Change your SPARK PLUGS, yes you the turbo car!

Getting the car ready for another race event this weekend. Hope the changes work for the best and we moved in the right direction. Doing maintenance and making changes is part of the process of making these drag cars faster and faster. Car was having a super hard time spooling up on this past Thursday, turns out I'm getting lazy now that the tune is dialed in really close as far as a/f ratio and timing. Plugs were slightly fouled and not working like they should have. Wow what a difference.

Daily driven street/racecar. Making about 900/1100 hp is a cold plug or hot plug better I'm running a cold plug as of now

We change plugs every event.
Running race gas we have one water tank for the intercooler and trans cooler, and another tank that circulates engine water no radiator. We ice them down and dump out about half the hot water between passes. That much water volume we have no problems with it getting hot during or after the pass.

I think if weight was a concern your small radiator is a better solution.

Hey saw the LED lights you have on your firewall and it seems like your running some in your interior also. Maybe you could do a video on them like what witch ones you used. They look like they work good. Thanks for all the great content.

John, wouldn’t you be able to lengthen both sides of the anti roll bar links and get a little more clearance? Looks like it in the video, rather than raise the ride height.

You thought about a heat sink instead of a small radiator, be easy to mount? Thanks for the Video.

Turbo life will make you lazy on maintenance! Nitrous days i was changing plugs after every pass. Now i change them maybe twice a season.

Your intelligence is by far more important than big money John! Money helps though!

I would make my own external dump. Just plump a cheater nitrous solenoid on the cooler line. You can then use nitrous jets tune it for a softer hit.
