My stepfather had a top range Capri back in the day. We loved it. This is such a disappointment especially at the price. I can not see the point of this car at all.

Seeing it’s a reskinned Explorer (which is in itself a reskinned ID4), maybe they should have called it Dora?

It looks well and has a nice shape but one thing is a problem for me is no physical buttons for the infortainment and other controls . I think touch sensitive buttons will be a problem for some in the car.

As a 77yr old who drove a Ford capri in the 1960s, this is not a Capri, so disappointed

It’s nice the yellow looks so good. I was driving fords for years waiting on them to come out with electric car. But they were too slow and feel the tech in the car is lacking. After attending the Nevo show at the start of the year and seeing all the Evs that were on offer and getting to compare features and prices I ended up happily buying a model 3. But good to see Ford getting somewhere hopefully they bring more to the EV market

What a disappointment. Ford has made a monumental mistake badging this as a Capri...such an iconic name and such a forgettable design.

👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 as a capri, they should of called that a Ford disappointment . Nothing against that car but it’s not a capri so they should of started fresh with a new name . It needs to resemble the old car like the Fiat 500 & VW beetle and even the new Renault 5. Overall this was a bad name for this car .

Ford can name it anything they want. I've never bought a car because of its name. If a Mustang was called a Ford Tulip, people would still buy it.

The capri xr2 had more in common with the mazda 323 and 626 than the miata. Its platform was based on the ford laser and though it really wasnt meant to compete with the miata, it inevitably did. Truly a great car. This however, is simply not a capri. What next? ESUV miata?

Horrible, the Capri was a classic, but this is indistinguishable from from the rest of the suv's out there.
They should have followed the example of Renault with the Renault 5 and created a car that really calls back to the classic car.. They would have been onto a winner had they done so.

Looks good but ford should have saved the capri name for a sports car. Too many vw hangovers

Very disappointing. I owned several ford capris in the 70s and was expecting a car with a similar overall shape as the classic capris.
