Ford’s Capri Is back! But Not How Your Dad Might Remember It…

Here’s a blast from the past, a nameplate we thought we’d never see back in production – the Capri!

Only this Ford Capri isn’t how your dad might remember it. Because before, from the late 1960s through to the mid ‘80s, the Capri was a coupe, sort of Europe’s Ford Mustang.

And now? Well, it’s an SUV crossover. An electric one at that. And it’s not even really a Ford.

Old people anger..? Ford have just created an electric suv that has some hugely vague styling cues based very loosly on a car that inspired and still inspires people to this day. Add to that they shoved the name on it to piggy back off it's classic name. They have caused general anger amongst many age generations... Ford should leave the old names well alone!
