I got mine...128G and I love it! Came with the silicone cover and no issues with skin irritation. I'm finally working out again (was really living that potato life lately) and still have a ton to learn, but it's awesome!

If Oculus decides to continue the Rift line of hmd's there could be some noticeable differences that could be done to separate the Rift and Quest lines. #1 is the the Rift 2 could be wireless using a USB transmitter for easy plug n play setup. #2 extended battery life due to more battery space and less load on the battery with the reduction of cpu/gpu since the rift is meant for computer use only. Also considering the power that would be used for example with eye tracking and focus lcds. #3 matching or better resolution of the quest of the time. #4 the included headphones. #5 possibly wireless and rechargeable tracking camera(s) and downward controller rings the rift has. Tracking camera for the controllers basically Some games like saints and sinners get annoying with the item slots moved forward, they get in the way. Reduce loss of controller tracking. Use a combo of inside out, outside in tracking. Some close together hand actions can't be done or are hard to do with the inside out tracking. I prefer to have the vr hands in the same place as my real hands. The quest clearly offsets the vr hands position to compensate for the upwards rings. #6 the price saved on the cpu/gpu can go towards the wireless external camera(s), resolution, display type and other stuff. The rift could be used for an higher tier experience since the quest is more of a lower cost introductory package.

I was actually one that experienced skin irritation, and since i´m from Denmark i was expecting a loooonng wait, but after providing the info they required it took no more than 3 days before the silicone cover arrived. It is more comfortable, but also alot more warm, of course being silicone it´s easy to wipe off. As much as i hate facebooks part in all of this, i cannot deny great service ;-) great vid. m8

I work on VR and I noticed these new Oculus Quest 2 with the silicone cover (bougth two of 128GB) actually have a slightly more processing power, and casting was improved when compared to a Quest 2 bought last year (64GB version). I don't know if this is official, or if something is throttling my last year Quest 2. They all have the same firmware, and we installed the exactly same app that we are developing.

I sold my quset 2 and so much more stuf for a valve index but i now cant play vr when im anway from my computer so i Think i maybe going to buy it but idk

I think if they do make something more business focused, they might make a smaller headset with less power that would be more focused on AR with color passthrough, maybe eye tracking with automatic ipd adjustment and/or other social features. Try to make it like a laptop replacement type deal with the keyboard and stuff

Got my Quest 2 128 the day of the release. The best experiences for me so far were Creed, Super Hot and Space Pirate Trainer played on a 30 foot x 30 foot Guardian.

Love your channel! I purchased 3 Oculus Quest 2’s for family and myself in April. Your channel was the first channel I came upon for information, as I was brand new to VR. I will say I’m very upset with Oculus because the Quest 2 I got for myself had to be returned 3 times before I got one that actually worked. Right after I received my working replacement, they came out with the 128 GB. They could have asked me to wait and I would have gladly done so for the larger version. I too bought the VR cover and love it. I was able to apply for the free rubber gasket to go over the included cover but haven’t received it yet! I absolutely love the Quest now that I have a functioning one and hope more people will try out VR. I’m hooked! Thanks for the very informative videos you post! Glad to see that you survived COVID!
