I've owned the Ridgid R86211B for about a year now, I've removed 3 transmissions including removing the rusted exhaust from Canadian winters, almost completely took apart a ford explorer for parting out, removing old rust bolts on abused farm equipment, and a trailer ball rusted to a bumper that my friend bent his breaker bar on trying to loosen. No power loss yet, no damage to the exterior and I have a bad habit of tossing it onto my gravel driveway. It's definitely worth the I'd say, especially if you live where the bottom of vehicles become rust.

Consumers: Hey look, something that's awesome.

Large Corporation: Quick, get rid of it. They like it.

*Awesome combo **MyBest.Tools** powerful especially for size. And the batteries last well. When charged and stored they don't lose power like my old bulky ones did.*

Internally at TTI: "what the hell, guys? You can't just go beating Milwaukee! No more Octane for you!!!"

Yeah I feel like those octane batteries are gonna be “discontinued” pretty soon.

I have both mid torque and hi torque ridgid hands down the best battery impacts for the money !!!

I'd love to see you re-test this high torque Rigid with their new MAX Output batteries to see how much worse they are than the Octane.

I swore by the IR cordless tools until Milwaukee stepped it up. I personally only switched to Milwaukee after seeing their tool line up and apparent quality based on teardown by AvE

Awesome value along with the lifetime service agreement. I bought that Ridgid when it first came out. The 3.0 octane battery works out great with it. It has a wider stance so it stands up it my service cart nicely. There is barely any stall taking out lugnuts, it zips them out fast and gets the job done! I’ve been tempted to buy more 3.0 batteries, I believe the two packs are still going for $85 on clearance! Awesome video! Thanks!

Great video. I can't wait to see you test this later in the year; when Ridgid puts out their new 6ah and 8ah batteries that have 21700 cells. I love it when people underestimate Ridgid.

Nice to see everyone catching up to Milwaukee. Competition is good.

You should take the integral of the curves and set it up for a measurement for dynamic torque. Just a thought for an additional data point. Love the hard work you’re putting in!!

There's a bit more to this than just the torque numbers. I love the Milwaukee triggers, they can spin so slowly and consistently that I don't even bother hand threading things before going to the impact. I would definitely be curious to see how something cheaper does in those regards.

I invested in the Ridgid platform 2 years ago and am 100% satisfied. The Ridgid ROI is fantastic. These tests are great, but there's much more to a cordless platform than speed and max torque. It's like saying "x" car model is better than the rest because it has more horsepower, and that's it.

The king is gone/dethroned, but the Milwaukee High Torque is not forgotten.
