I really like that you don't accept manufactures free products even if they don't require a review.
Many manufactures are known to send better, clean units for review compared to what they sell to consumers.
So by only buying units available to consumers, I know that what your reviewing is the same version that I can buy. So thanks TTC

I have this impact. I run all Ryobi tools at my house. I’ve had their basic drill and impact for almost a decade now and the drills and batteries are still running strong. I also have their hammer drill, air compressor, this high torque impact drill, and all their bits. For the average joe who isn’t using this stuff everyday, their products are perfect.

Just did leaf springs in a 120k mile Tacoma that spent life in the north east and ripped though every rusted U-bolt nut and leaf to frame bolt like nothing. Love this thing. It's a beast with the 9ah battery.

I just got this because my Motor home has 1 1/2 luggs. I needed to check the oil level in my front wheels and first tried to do it with a breaking bar and almost $hit my pants and gave myself a hernia. This got all luggs with in seconds. Ryobi is the best in the RVer's market with universal batteries usage and tons of affordable products. Stuff I don't use everyday, but when I do it get sthe job done well. Now if I have get flat I could put the spare on myself. Good feelings!

I know Ryobi isn't always the best, but I still love their products for the range of what they have in the 18+ line and generally decent quality for non-professionals like myself. I'm glad to see this new impact do well!

I've used Ryobi "standard" half-inch (~300lb/ft rated) for occasional car work for years and rarely find a bolt it won't bust free. It's amazing how far the cordless impact tech has come, not even sure I have a use for something in this class.

I work on family and friends vehicles and I will verify as an occasional user even on heavy use/duty type jobs this thing is an absolute beast for only $200. I don't know about all day every day use, but for regular maintenance on about 10-12 vehicles... for me it's worth every red cent. I use the newest gen 6ah HP battery as well.

Most Ryobi tools I have used are pretty much the perfect compromise for consumer use, they are cheap but are still usually good enough to get the job done. This thing seems to pretty much be in that category.

I never thought I'd see a tool before it's release I'm not even interested in getting one but your videos are really good and entertaining

Those new ryobi batteries are powered by the tears of the dewalt fan boys.

With this and the new Ridgid High Torque, hopefully it means we'll see the Gen 3 High Torque from Milwaukee real soon.

I’d love to see this tested with the Ryobi 9ah HP battery.

Thanks for the information. I’m on the Ryobi cordless platform because of budget and their one + batteries. Bought the mid- torque impact wrench in a combo deal, it breaks away & tightens the lug nuts on my 1500 without effort. I’m happy. When I upgrade to a 2500 & my impact doesn’t do its job I’ll upgrade to that one👍👍for what you do

I used the 2AH High Performance battery on the P262 to compress a pinion crush washer on a GM 10 bolt rear differential. It worked well. I wanted to sneak up on the preload, so I crippled the power of the tool. Or so I thought. The 2AH battery surprised me. It did drain quicker than I was expecting though.
The DeWalt DCF901 with 5ah battery didn't have enough beans for the job.

Love how Ryobi has stuck with their line and their batteries to be specific. That whole business with Ridgid ditching the octane was unfortunate. Pretty much killed that amazing high torque they had, it isn’t the same without the octane batteries. I’m tempted to pick this one up. Seems like good value for a quality high torque, it would be my first high torque. Only impact I have right now is the M12 stubby.

I got this tool a year or so ago and it has been absolutely great. Ran across this video and glad to see that it does the job.

I’ve had one since they first dropped three years ago. I’m a DIY’er, but i do everything all the time, so I’m using this thing multiple times per week. I can tell you, after making quick work of many Chevy, Honda and Toyota crank bolts, it’s still kicking like a mule with the same 4ah i got when i bought it.

These videos are super helpful. HD has the PBLIW01 right now for $159 packaged with a 4.0 ah HP battery PBP004. Watched this video before I bought one.

Nice testing, but I'd like to see some of the higher capacity Ryobi packs as well. I have a few 6ah HP batteries, it would be nice to see how those fare
