Yep, the rec is good this year, considering that’s the main game mode my squad and I play when we’re together. I’ve only played like 15 games so far maybe, and went from 85 to 93 overall potential (I’m at 81 rn, I’ve been loving the grind of rec, proving grounds 5v5, and my career to get badges, work on my skills, and have fun) hope everyone has a good 2K25 experience this year, bc I know some people who are absolutely miserable with the game rn lmao

The NBA games is so much slower than in previous years! At 93 OVERALL I had to play more than 10 FULL NBA games to finally reach 94! And that's even with me averaging 90 points per game and a A+ grade. It's gross! Definitely gonna try this before 2K decides to patch it some how! I also hate how 2K removed the ability from us to force the AI to cut to the basket. I used to easily get all my playmaking and passing badges maxed out by dropping dimes to AI after forcing them to cut to the hoop. But now.. they don't even cut! You can hold that LOB/CUT button and you'll just throw the ball to the AI immediately and they don't do shit. I HATE THAT THEY BROKE THIS ABILITY! Cutting to the hoop is the most basic NBA move ever! That would be like taking away the ability to run the football on Madden! SO DUMB!

I'm genuinely shocked how fast I got my builds to 96 ovr just playing rec, rebirth 3.0 is definitely one of the biggest Ws added this year... ill give 2k that

If you run the fiba offseason quest you 25k every 3 seasons. Do the method on 5 min quarters then, run fiba quest. It’ll get you 150-200k
