Last stop Tangier, the new mecca for African illegal immigrants

For this show we go to Morocco, to the port city of Tangiers. Legendary as a destination for foreign writers and spies, it’s become a Mecca for migrants from across Africa who are desperate get to Europe. Tangiers is just 40 kilometres from Spain, but many of the migrants never manage to make that last hop, and end up stranded in and around the sprawling city.

I'm a black american, and I find fault with the Sub-Saharan Africans. I don't feel sorry for them. How dare you take over someone else's apartment???!!! That man was being nice by not getting a group of people and having the squatters thrown out. If these men have money to rent an why not start a business in your own country and help build? Europe and Morocco don't owe you anything. It's not your right to invade another country for a "better life." All of those men could have put their money together and started a business. It's not racism - it's a mass invasion of able body young men. We are currently dealing with the same mess in America with economic migrants who pay smugglers (coyotes) $5000 and more to cross into America. The world doesn’t owe you anything. Use your money to build your countries up instead of invading other countries.

I'm a Black American and this is shameful. How can you just take over someone's apartment, claim it as your own and then argue with the owner not wanting to leave. That's crazy, that's illegal in the US. Black ppl have such a bad image around the world, because of foolish actions like this, it's sad.

Europe is great because Europeans fought and bled and built their countries over centuries. Africans must do the same in Africa. Make Africa great. Don't just run away to Europe.

The problem is that Morocco is an African struggling country as well with a high unemployment rate also think about what happen when all these ppl get hungry they go in groups to the nearest city and just take whatever they can
Moroccans are very welcoming but they are struggling too and it’s the government problem making millions of euros from Europeans union to keep immigrants out of Europe and don’t use that money to help them in Morocco like they suppose to do

The young men look like economic migrants who want to get an easy living at the expense iof real refugees and eurpeans, why should they have everything for free, while real victims are suffering in Spain..

The only way to really stop illegal immigration, and the BEST way, is to develop the economies of the source nations so people don't need to immigrate illegally. We need to help these nations protect their economies, just like we did, so they can develop their industries.

I feel for both sides.

Last time I visited Morocco it was very nice and relaxed.
Oh well times moved on and it looks like their fellow "Africans" have moved in.
