Christianity could have started out as a set of local rules, deities and customs. Over time, it evolved into a larger organised religion, taking inspiration from various sources, including Greek mythology. For example, the Trinity could have been inspired by Greek and nordic legends. Through colonialism, imperialism and missionary activities, it has one of the largest followings.

However, its teachings might not be intended for all peoples. For example, in Matthew 15:24, Jesus says: "But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel".

Further, in Matthew 15:26, Jesus says: "it is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to the dogs".

These are a few examples, amongst others, of the exclusivity, and more importantly, the very localised nature of the faith. The offical commentary for Matthew 15:26 particularly illustrates this point.
