Jesus Revolution - "Sheep Without A Shepherd" Scene
In Theaters Everywhere February 24 with early access screenings February 22

In the 1970s, young Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) is searching for all the right things in all the wrong places: until he meets Lonnie Frisbee (Jonathan Roumie), a charismatic hippie-street-preacher. Together with Pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammer), they open the doors of Smith’s languishing church to an unexpected revival of radical and newfound love, leading to what TIME Magazine dubbed a JESUS REVOLUTION.

Saw it last night it was awesome. My husband was baptized by Pastor Chuck 49 years ago. So we had to go see it. Praise Jesus.

I pray this movie brings many more people to the Lord. We need a revival in this land now more than ever.

We need open doors. The Church should not be treated as an hotel for the blessed. But a hospital for those who are lost. Let our doors be open wide.

The acting was seriously good in this. Kelsey Grammar is outstanding.

There are many churches with shut doors still. And there are others with permanently closed doors after the sheep have left. I am proud and grateful, and blessed to be a part of this one. May all of God's sheep find their way to open doors. 🙏 May you have a blessed day.

This was such a powerful scene to watch.
Reminds me of James 2:1-13

Legalistic Churches and Liberal Churches make the opposite error from each other, but with the same result.
If sin were an open, bleeding wound, the Legalistic Church would turn the bleeding person away at the door because they're more worried about appearance and someone bleeding is just too messy.

The Liberal Church would gladly welcome them in, boasting about how accepting they are of bleeding people.

In both cases the bleeding person's wounds are not treated and they will die!

I watched this movie so many times and still love it
This scene is the most important part in the movement that happened. Kelsey Grammer is so good in this role!

My wife and I saw it this past weekend and we were blown away. It was such an amazing movie and the parallels that we saw from what was happening back then to what is happening today was undeniable. I used to think that The chances of another spiritual awakening was very slim. But today I think the chances are much greater than ever. And I hope that a huge spiritual awakening is the reason why America is not even mentioned in the book of Revelation

It was great! Holy Spirit moved and I wept through several scenes. Yes people are looking for fulfillment in many wrong places and one day realize it was God they could find the only answer in. That was me. In 1976 I came to the Lord.

Wow, "we can only walk through doors that are opened to us, and yours is not." Some things never change.
