Director: Francis Ford Coppola
Stars: Marlon Brando, Al Pacino

Fredo: Hey, Mike, are you sure about that? I mean, Moe, loves the business. He never said anything to me about sellin'.

Al Pacino delivered beyond imagination. I can never get enough of his mastery in this film. Best work of his lifetime and I suspect he very wells knows it. Masterful.

Its a crime that Pacino was nominated for best supporting actor when he actually played a leading role in this film. His screen time was leading. Although in the sequel De Nero won the award, I think Pacino was robbed of not winning an award for the his stunning performance in the first two films.

Al Pacino is gorgeous. I cant take my eyes off him. I didnt know this was his look on his younger years.

Al honestly should have won the lead Oscars for both the movies without any doubt imo.

Watching the Offer right now and I just can’t believe how much push back to put Al Pacino in this role. It’s truly unbelievable

Bits you may find interesting:
1. The opening wedding celebrations were filmed over a period of a week, and employed over seven hundred fifty extras.
2. While filming the hospital scenes, doctors and nurses kept sneaking through for a peek at Marlon Brando.
3. According to Al Pacino, the tears in Marlon Brando's eyes were real, in the hospital scene when Michael pledges himself to his father.
4. Richard S. Castellano ad-libbed the line "Leave the gun, take the cannoli."
5. Elvis Presley, an avid fan of the book, auditioned for the role of Tom Hagen, though he really wanted to play Vito Corleone.
6. Stanley Kubrick thought the film had the best cast ever and could be the best movie ever made.
7. Selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Film Registry in 1990 as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant."

Thank goodness Al Pacino was cast in this, he IS Michael Corleone just like how Robert Downey Jr is Iron Man.

Its incredible how the same actor played as both the calm and collected Michael Corleone and the hot-headed Tony Montana.

I 've never watched the movie .I wasn't much interested in gangster movies, but a friend gave me the novel to read which why i came here. The legendary Al Pacino had really done the character full justice. He is Michael in every sense as if the novel had been literally written for him. What a pity! They had unfairly denied him his well-deserved Academy Award for best actor.

I am glad you made this video because Al doesn’t get enough credit for his performance in this as much as he does for the second movie.

This is not acting, he IS the character, this is Micheal. I don't know who Al Pacino is !?

As brilliant as Pacino was in G1 he was an order of magnitude better in G2. You see a man literally destroying himself from within in the sequel. It's like a non-graphic horror film.

When I watched Blade Runner 2049, Ryan Gosling's performance reminded me of this one. They're both very reserved and collected, but you can feel every emotion behind those poker faces. When the emotions do come out, they hit you hard
