GCSE Sociology Revision from allsociology - Theories on Education (Episode 7)

In the seventh episode of this series of GCSE Sociology revision videos, I turn attention towards sociological theories on the role of education in society. I look at the arguments of functionalism, Marxism and feminism and consider how you can use theory to answer a typical essay question.

hi sir! can we criticise setting by saying that marketization means that educational triage takes place in school. this means that the borderline children (mainly wc) will be given more attention and thus compensates their disadvantage within the education system because they are given support to boost their achievement?
