I have ipad 2 ios 9, locked by passcode . Try the method above but it does not work. passcode forgotten .

I would love if it if this worked, and maybe I'm hitting the wrong button at the wrong time, but when I hold both at once, it makes a camera noise and boots me to the login screen. :(

it still asked for my login and password, which I do not remember. I no longer have use of the email address I had at the time. It is a model #1395

I know this was an old video but my old iPads screen wasn’t turning on even though the ipad itself was on and this actually fixed the problem
