Broken Zipper Bottom Pin – Solved!

Hi I have one jacket and one coat where the bottom pin is still intact but the material one tooth above it (or the material underneath it) has worn/freyed is there any way to bolster or reinforce the areas with thread or a fancy stitch? Or perhaps a reinforcement strip of fabric?

I need the zipper chain. Its missing a few pegs. How do I do this? The missing pegs are (if looking at my jacket straight on, it'd be the right side bottom of the zipper chain) pegs links #6 #7 #8 (from the bottom up) are all 3 missing pegs links. Not counting the locking pin as a peg. If I had lost this locking pin peg I would give up on the jacket all together.
#1. Peg link in the chain is the first horizontal one from bottom up on the right side.

How do I realign the bottom pin that's attached to the box with the bottom of the coil on a jacket zipper? It keeps getting in the way of the bottom pin that inserts into the pull. Very frustrating!!

How did you get the zipper back to the bottom that was apart? THAT isn’t shown and it’s the most important part!!!!

Too bad because I can't find the bottom pin any longer even though this sounds like a good idea.
