Secret of Color Mixing in Acrylic | Portrait Painting Tutorial with Acrylic by Debojyoti Boruah

This is the secret of color mixing in acrylic portrait paiinting on canvas. I am using only water as the medium. No retarder and medium used for this entire painting.
I have started this painting of Vyjayanthimala with a monochrome undertone with Burnt umber and white. Then applied various layers of colors with glazing technique to achieve the right skin tone.

Truely wonderful. I never thought that acrylic would be this flexible. It was very insightful. Thankyou for that. I would love to know more details like the consistency of paint used and what level of wetness/dryness is required so that each layer blends well to create the required texture.
