you added more white and yellow and a drop of blue for the lights. isn't yellow a warm color?

Seriously? The light source is usually cold?? Why? I'm not doubting your expertise, and I
am very appreciative of your instruction, here. TY so much😎 Your work is amazing! I just want to make sure I have this right, though. It sounds backwards to me 😶 The light source is usually considered COLD??? I think of light sources as hot🌅, unless it is maybe moonlight🌃?? Like, the sun🌅 is considered hot, right? The sun 🌅is the light source in a lot of artist's work I would think, but why would it be considered cool and the shadows warm? This is confusing to me. Please explain further, because I'd like to follow this rule but got to make sure I have it correct. Paint shadows in warm tones. You said planes FACING the light source are generally done in cool tones (seems backward) and, those facing away (in shadow) paint warm. Seems backwards, but maybe I just think backwards 😂😂😄😄😂 would you help me understand this, pls?

my teacher at university told me that shadows should be cold . every teacher or artists says something difrent.im confused
