Keeping faith in Jesus. I got fired over not wanting the vaccine. I fell into a deep dark depression. Because I didn’t know how I was going to provide for my two children I’m a single mom so all of the stress from that worrying and not having faith caused me to have a heart attack almost a 7 weeks ago. Now I’m living with two stents in my chest, but the moral of my story is have faith our Heavenly Father will always provide. It’s only because of the kindness from strangers me and my children still have a home. Praise Jesus.

Thank you so much, Mark, for posting this. For the past little while, I had gotten so caught up in the idea that because I have waited and tried to put God first in relationships, I deserved a godly spouse. The essence of this was pride… deep down in my heart, I thought I was more worthy of the blessing of a godly spouse because I waited and sought after Him first. My intentions and heart, at first seemed, good; but in the end, they truly are dirty rags before His throne. The Holy Spirit convicted me of this, and I repented. And I’m so thankful that these things were brought to light. I don’t ever want myself to be on display. I want God to be glorified.

When I receive the blessing of a godly spouse, I know it will only ever be because of God’s grace… not because I waited or did things. I legitimately don’t deserve anything good, but by God’s grace and because of who He is, He still gives good things to His children.

I don’t want people to say “God brought them together because they deserve each other, ” but rather, I hope people say, “God brought them together because God is good… because of God’s grace.” And that’s the real truth.

I have prayed for the past few years for GOD to teach me INTEGRITY in
1) humility
2) suffering
3) patience
4) compassion

I confess that I have slipped in all of these areas. I don’t know when or how I have slipped, but, I love confession because in confession I find 1 John 1:9 (faithful and just God)

Confession brings me close to the heart of God!
