Here's a comparison of Sony A7Rii XAVCS output vs. Atomos Ninja Flame Prores422 w/ aggressive color grade in Cine4.

It seems like there's very little difference, actually I don't see any difference at all. Will do another test using Slog2.

I believe this is due to the 8-bit output of Sony A7Rii. But using Ninja Flame will definitely help for grading as you get much less compression and less work for your CPU, that's the biggest advantage I see when using Cine4. Since Ninja Flame supports AtomHDR, which allows you to expose Slog2 correctly, that's where it may shine more, I am uploading that other test now.

I honestly can't see any difference at all. The XAVCS holds up very well for youtube videos.

This test makes the ninja seem useless. (based on image quality) Maybe it is, in this case, BUT the Gh5 has only 150mbps with UHD 60p. That sounds to be a pretty low bitrate… I don't know, but you could test (once you get it) will it look much better, when using ninja INFERNO´s prores UHD 60p compared to the GH5 150mbps version, especially, when there´s lot´s of movement in the footage.
