Five Nights at Freddy's Help Wanted 1 is a VR game that recreates a lot of the iconic earlier FNAF titles. But how does this game work behind the scenes, out of bounds, and off camera? We'll be tackling the entire game in this video including the Curse of Dreadbear DLC. There's lots of out of bounds findings and behind the scenes developer tricks in this one!

There's also a thing in FNAF 1 that if you put you headset into the hallway, Foxy will immediately run at you.

I worked on help wanted. The white box in the prize corner functions as a cashe with all the item ids for all the items you can collect after every mini game it also functions as a checksum to see what you've unlocked and can spawn using the prize counter menu

I don't think anyone explained the giant dreadbear, but don't worry Fusionzgamer hacked to him already. His legs hang from the map, so he has his legs unlike in the title screen map. He was replaced with the dancing Glitchtrap and something interesting is his position is different between the vr and non vr versions.

Also something important forgotten, there is tombstones behind u in trick or treat. Fusion hacked over and it had text that's interesting. Can't remember which video but wish it didn't end up forgotten during the video here but oh well, it is what it is.

You can actually activate the showtime sequence! You just need to send a command using the Unreal Engine unlocker.

I know why part of the FNAF 4 bedroom is loaded during Plushtrap's minigame!
It's because the player can turn around and look through the door behind them, viewing the part of the hallway that isn't visible during normal FNAF 4 gameplay.
Some neat world building right there!

37:50 I can look at them from that angle (my room I play in is very long and I can peak around thing I'm not supposed to. I can peak behind the curtains on the level select area by just walking over (I can also grab Freddy's fazballs))

The roaches are probably rendered as a particle, would explain why they dont pause with the game but with the game's speed

I love how every animatronic gets referred to as "them" instead of "it". Its like hes trying to be polite to all the animatronics lol

During the Fnaf one section when foxy runs the sign saying “Out of Order” changes to “It’s Me”

31:00 I have different ideas why devs leave decorative objects out of bounds or don't remove them for a certain game mode. I have helped working on a game myself and it often is because it simply doesn't impact performance so cleaning up the levels is done very roughly to empty the memory a little or prevent unnecessary long loading times. Sometimes some objects are in one group with other objects so removing them won't improve anything but rather risk breaking something for some unintuitive reason that doesn't seem to make sense at first.

It is not very likely but not impossible that it got forgotten in the process of finishing. You start loosing sight of those objects around you when you see them so often and long every day. So you don't care removing them as they don't impact performance.

In rare circumstances objects get assigned to certain trigger or tasks to simplify the coding. Normally you have to create new code to create a logic and you need to classify something. But sometimes it is easier to use an existing object for beeing lazy.

16:47 My theory is that the sequence of them coming into the office kinda works on an ordered sequence where if an animatronic is already there while another animatronic is about to enter, they instead get teleported below then both animatronics get reset once the initial animation ends.

I think why the animatronics disappear wen the puppet leaves the box is because There’s no reason for the animatronics because only the puppet can jump scare the player but why toy cupcake is still in the map is because cupcake can’t jump scare the Player

Cam 6 is a flying drone with a camera that is so advanced, it cannot be registered by any screen currently unless you use an emulator and it uses a cloak device to hide itself

I know why Toy Freddy was underneath the floor. When Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, Withered Freddy, Withered Chica, or Withered Bonnie come in, Toy Freddy is there as a place holder. But if he shows up but no animatronics come, then his AI got messed up. If an animatronic comes but Toy Freddy isn't there, chances are, the animatronic will not kill you. Very rare to happen though. Hope this helped! EDIT: Mangle too.
