nightmare sound is actually the broken sound of an ambulance, nightmare animatronic is the meaning of death due to the fact that "the bite of 83" happend before this night, no matter how much cc tries to scape, he wants to get him or make him suffer on his last minutes of life, cc is just trying to beat death.

I think the illusion disk was the retcon and wasn’t intended but sister location was the next game and it managed to still make sense of nightmare so he went with it
