So who is Mr. Nobody:

I am a young Professional Watchmaker who has served in the world of horology for the past 10 years with real world experience in retail, repair, and manufacturing with brick and mortar shops, independents and microbrands, and several of the major brands’ North American Service Centers.

My watch collecting journey began at the age of 4 with the first watch I ever received from my father: an inexpensive plastic watch he picked up at the local pharmacy, I’ll never forget it…it was designed to resemble a tiger that had the digital read-out inside of its mouth. I wore it out after a couple of months, he then upgraded me to his retired Timex Expedition with Indiglo, since then I’ve been hooked and haven’t been able to break the trance ignited by that Indiglo light.

I have this watch in PVD black and am very pleased with it. This makes my fifth watch from Bernhardt. I purchased two special edition (corporate) watches which were personally delivered and sized by Fred. This helped fuel my desire for my first automatic watch. I called Fred and he brought my two choices for me to select from. I chose the Binnacle Diver in the orange dial. I have since purchased the Globemaster GMT II and the Binnacle Anchor. The quality of all of the pieces is excellent and the customer service is beyond anything I have ever experienced from any company. If you are on the fence on this one just buy it. You will be very satisfied with your purchase.

Bought the Anchor 3.
I HATE dive watches but swim alot. Wanted a 200m+ with screw down crown that WASN'T a dive watch.

This was perfect. One of my favorite watches.
It's nice enough to wear out but not so expensive like my Omega or Rolex that I'm scared to get wet.

Solid as a rock piece, I grabbed the champagne/ gold coloured dial version a yr ago and even with a substantial collection of much costlier swiss pieces I find myself reaching for this a lot. It’s simple, well built, great bracelet, 9 series movement and looks slick enough for a perfect everyday piece.
Can’t say enough good things about Fred and the Bernhardt brand, the speed in which they respond to any questions you might have.
With the current sale I grabbed a second one for my pops at a bargain with those specs.
Thanks for the video !

$379 now. I've been looking at this company for probably almost 10 years haha. I keep on forgetting to order anything when I have money to spare and only remember to look when I'm broke. So disappointed I haven't got a few pieces over the years at the lower prices. I will still get one as soon as possible.

i purchased the earlier 3rd generation model called BBAnchor III (three) . a very solid piece at about 40mm wide . the only issue i have with the watch is this weights abit heavy . should be fine to wear it as a sports, field, weekend, or even black tie event watch but probably not suitable for daily work/office wear. i have a 17cm (6 and 3/4 inch wrist) but i wears abit loose

Great looking watch, the hands look a bit short and on the thin side. Also, Mercedes hands would look great.

Good except for the "anchors". Get rid of them.
