I love From Software’s reoccurring theme of people trying to turn into Dragon’s and it never ends good for them

I love this guy. DragokinSoldiermon is my favorite Digimon in all of Elden Ring.

keeping in mind that these creatures where created instead if evolving naturally, and according to the lore have no real connection to actual dragons, the hollowed torso and overall appearance of their naked bodies makes me think the people from the eternal cities used the trolls/giants we fight in most of the game as a ''base'' or groundwork for this chimeric monstruocity

The face really reminds me of the EVA units when they go berserk, from Evangellion.

What I found interesting is that they share more features with ancient dragons rather then modern onea, since they appear to have 4 wing appendages and more stony skin around their heads

So there are a few interesting details that stand out…
• Their cape uses a unique coat of arms that's not present anywhere else, and is very different from the one of the Eternal City.
• They have 6 fingers on their hands, which we also see on Godrick the Grafted, while their skin is the same color as the Finger Creepers.
• Their bodies are hollowed out and they have some root-like structures near their head like the Trolls.
• They have the same double-jaw rows of teeth like the Dragon God from _Demon's Souls, _ (who also has a bit more of a humanoid form).

If you think that the DS3 dragon form is skinny, this one is so emasticated that it has no guts.

Except for the one hanging out in the Lake of Rot. Fuck that one.

It's actually terrifying to see how human they look without their bandages and armor plates I feel like they should have left them naked to really make you feel like you're fighting a mutated being that shouldn't exist

I’ve noticed that some of the enemies and factions that align themselves against the Golden Order have 6 fingered hands as a prominent symbol. Rykard himself has 6 fingers on each of his hands, the dragonkin soldiers who are aligned with the Eternal Cities have 6 fingered hands, and Godrick who we find in possession of a Godskin prayerbook has 6 fingers on one of his hands.

This is actually my favorite enemy in Elden Ring! Such good design, the OST is nice, and the way they flail around is so fascinating.

Interesting to see that, like the dead giants and trolls we encounter, they have a hollow abdominal cavity. Also interested to see an 8-spoked wheel insignia on his cloak, similar in structure to the eye of the Fell God of the giants

I never thought I'd see the day when Dark Souls bosses would go so far to make it into the Elden Ring Universe that they'd bring Ossiarch Bonereapers from Warhammer Age of Sigmar with them.

In Dark Souls, you went figuratively hollow. In Elden Ring, everyone is literally hollow.

There's one thing that stood out immediatly when I fought this boss. The music theme doesn't match it. At least not after fighting a normal dragon and then this one. I think that it would be great if these guys had a different theme since they are indeed dragon-related but not true dragons... Perhaps they tried to imitate the true ones and failed, which I believe is a recurring theme in From software games.

Love the design of these guys. I really grew to appreciate them more on later playthroughs of ER.

I was shocked by how weak they actually are, compared to how they look like. Digging into the lore and finding out that these were once normal humans, who used magic and alchemy trying to turn into dragons, being mutated into these unworldy beings gave me an explanation for this. They are mutilated
