Dragonkin Soldier isn't too crazy. Avoid it's slams, especially the second-hit earthquake from the big one, and you shouldn't have too hard a time. Keep in mind that I killed this boss much later in my playthrough, so if you feel like you're not doing enough damage, just come back later!

Guys, just stand underneath the waterfall and he cant hit you. Everytime he whiffes his attack u give him an attack

Looked up this boss because I fought him in another area and did not know there were two bosses here. This game is something else

this guy has a two hit attack. the first hit stuns you and the second one it looks like hes doing absolutely nothing but it insta kills you. so fun

If you rush in and target his left leg, then sneak as close as you can and stick to the back of his knee you can cheese him. You can hit him until staggered if you throw wolves at him, then back off and repeat, this time while dodging right until you can circle him to the same spot, the opposite leg works as well just not as good, but if you need an escape route it works. It's a bit like riding a bull it seems but once you get the hang of it the fight takes 1 minute or so!

He's kinda broken if you use a horse, since a horse can't dodge properly, all you gotta do is get right up in his ass, if he turns one way, go the other while slashing his ass / thighs, once his attack stops, he likely changes his turn direction, so you'll do the same with your horse. I spent the entire fight slashing his ass and he didn't face me one time, I even stunned him and the game wants me to do a critical face stab, but no, ass all the way until he dies.

Is there only this boss and Ancestor Spirit in the Siofra River? They were the only 2 I was able to find and they are both really cool boss fights. Awesome area!

Best to avoid going directly below him. And don't swing more than twice at a time if you're having a hard time.

This was such an awesome fight. Playing a heavy poise, lance and shield build and it's really fulfilling that "Grail Knight" fantasy and this boss brought the best in it.

And a tip for others, just stay on your horse. Charge the side or middle, take a few swings and run back quick, rinse and repeat. Did it this way at level 25

Thank god this one doesn’t shoot lightning like the other one in some cave I found, over 50 try’s but he went down

You can sorta cheese it by just kiting with your horse just at the range where he will start attacking. Both of his lunges give you enough time to get a charged swing in and safely get away, other moves don't give enough time and might lead to you getting 1 shot if he lunges afterward.

Took my squishy mage forever to kill this guys since he one shot me. It was so satisfying to beat him without taking damage

First playthrough, first souls game. I found this guy when I was lvl 70 (moonveil mage) and he was a joke. That's the problem with this game sometimes. You can run into a boss who will steamroll you then 2 minutes later kill a guy in like 4 hits but you never know which is which.

I just found him last night. I got him down about 1/4 but then got 1 shot. I teleported elsewhere and will come back later. I’m only level 40 now.

Took me ten tries but thank God for skeleton summons for distracting him making it easier . And then golden Halberd while on horseback striking him everytime he stalls after his strike

Little fun fact: You can drop down to this area from Nokron the Eternal city. So I came from above, while you teleported from below:) Gotta love souls.
