The Expanse - Season 1 Review (Spoiler Free)

This week in world of TV shows I review The Expanse Season 1! When 3 factions of power are at each others throats, an unlikely team of survivors from a ship that was destroyed by an unknown ship seeks the truth to understand who is trying to start a war. This insidious plan brings about unexpected victims and attract the most unlikely of people to understand what is going on.

Took me a while to watch this season but I made it through. This is a very in-depth and nuanced show that I think many will enjoy. Did I enjoy it? Lets find out!

Season 1 is meant to be a mystery. Even the viewer does not know what is kicking up all the trouble. Heck 1 of the 2 main threads is a noir detective story. It starts with the first minutes of the first episode which most people forget very quickly, but there are a lot of hints there. A lot of it is connected by episode 8 when things really fall into place.
Book 1 goes to Season 2 Episode 5, which has a lot of closure on things, but opens up a lot more. It is a 9 book series after all.

I'm a fan of the books and when I found out they were going to adapt them I was cautiously optimistic.
I love S1 and think they knocked it outta the park.
Think you're gonna love S2 and hope you'll give your thoughts on that as well.
It really does just continue to get better and better!
