Amazing how the intro changes with time and events.
After Deimos is destroyed, you can see the rubble in space over Mars. The Navoo leaves Tycho and then Tycho is shown alone. The Protomolecule just barely visible over the planet at the end whereas in Season 1 it's just the Sun shining through.

The percussion in this score is what brings it to the heavens---the dance between bass drum and the claps. It really sells the illusion of humanity's daunting, epic march into the future. Every time I watch this show or Westworld, or hear this score or Westworld's score, I wanna grab some tools and work on my car, or study applied math, or code all day, or tinker away with an arduino board. It makes me wanna learn science, the only magic we have, and most of all it makes me wanna be a part of the future. I love this show and what it's done and continues to do for me and I hope at least some of you love it for the same reasons. March on, humans!
