What would you recommend for product videos, the tamron sp 70-200mm f2.8 Di VC or the Sony FE 70-200MM f2.8 GM OSS lens? The Tamron is less than half the price.

16-35 mm I prefer the f4 because it has image stabilization in it, good while blogging. The 2.8 has none as far as I know?

Just got the new Sigma 85 1.4 DG DN 5 days ago and I’m now selling my Sony 85 1.4 GM.. it’s that good.. it’s sharper, and quieter and has faster AF with no hunting at almost half the price ..

Hey, thanks for the great vid! What lens would you recommend to record the beach and lakes for primarily ambient vids. Still videos on a tripod basically. For clean crisp capture of the waves, clouds, rain, glassy lakes, etc. TIA

Do you have trouble with balancing on gimbal zooming in and out with the 16-35mm or do you balance in between ? Thanks

I still feel the 24-70 sigma/ g master is the all rounder. It covers alot of focal ranges. And i feel a 24-70 2.8 accompanied with an 85mm 1.8 zeiss batis and a 14-24 sigma would be great. What do you think? Buying a new camera so need a bit of help.

Thank you for offering cheaper alternatives! I would like to be able to get a wide, medium, and close up GM lens but it's simply not cost effective when you're just starting out.

I'd argue the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 is the all arounder for video. Add a 15 prime laowa for the occasional wide angle shots and a 90 macro for detail shots.

Indeed, I am interested interested in learning what are the best cheapest third party lenses for this camera. Btw, do we lose any functions when using say a third party lense such as a Nikon full frame lens?

My personal favorites are 16-35mm f2.8 and 25mm f2 Batis.
Every other GM just sleeps in my dry cabinet.
