When I was 11 years old, I was waiting for my grandma in our apartment building to pick up groceries from a car. Some man I never saw pushed me into an elevator and molested me there. Once found me, she saw something bad had happened and I told her what the man did to me. She did not call the cops thinking it'll make things worse, instead, she took me to my father and told him everything. He just sighed and said "boys will be boys, she has pretty eyes...". It traumatized me.

A few days later, my sister took me to a theatre to watch first Lord of The Rings movie. I was amazed how wonderful that movie was. From then on, I watched lots and lots of fantasy movies which helped me to forget and cope with that bad experience. Watching them would make me forget bad things, especially Lord of the Rings.

I know how terrible it feels whenever your plea for help is ignored. And how horrible it is when such a thing happens.

To see now, such a great movie series having the same fate as me as a child, being brutally molested in front of everyone's eyes brings so many hurtful memories. I cannot fathom why amazon did this to Lord of The Rings, I can only cry and pity for what they're doing to it. The Lord of the Rings, whatever happens to you from now on, you are still beautiful, you're still the same innocent series we watched in early 2000. You will never be forgotten or alone, I will always be there for you. It's not your fault, you will always be true and only Lord of the Rings in my heart.

I dont have an issue with this show becuase i am not some die hard fan that knows everything, im not picky, with acurcy at all. I loved obi won kenobi show and didnt notice anything that fans were ranting about. So im actually pretty excited for this show

So instead of focusing on a few characters/events within a manageable timeframe and expanding them (were you could event your own characters and events without bastardizing an entire age) they want to squash three thousand years into a few so they can cannibalize as many characters/events as possible. Why not.
