I love how the Studio is a place were all the employees have an opportunity to talk about something they're passionate about. It's a great outlet that doesn't always have to be about the latest phones or EVs!

SO GLAD THIS IS FINALLY LIVE!! Mariah's a natural as a host, and the pacing and editing are stellar. This is definitely my favorite Studio video in a while.

Not an exaggeration to say that Mariah is one of the best things to happen to the studio!

I understand making this a studio channel video, but I think this could’ve been a main channel video 100%. Mariah is a natural host and this video had all the polish of a normal MKBHD production.

Mariah killed it. The whole time I was just thinking, she is so good at transitions, info pacing, speech accuracy... Literally everything!! That's an excellent video. Probably best studio video in this year by a mile.

Thank you so Mariah and Andrew for featuring us and our A.I. grilling! Making applications of A.I. accessible, beginner friendly, and affordable is key 👊!

Her hosting setup gets wonderfully wilder as the video progresses. From a well lit set, to her desk, to a standing mic video overlay that moves around and rotates. 😂 Great video and great topic!

Mariah is awesome on camera. Her voice is so natural for this.

4:59 "if the product can't stand alone without a subscription service, it's probably not a very good product"

The timing of this video, could not be better.

really appreciate the editing style in this. still maintains the quality of a studio video, but with the silliness of the internet (subway surfer stream? lol) hope to see more like this!

This video is freaking amazing! Love seeing Mariah do her thing! The delivery of the info was a highlight but not THE highlight. the way this was edited and the videos thrown in with her and the green screens and all about the visuals were awesome! Thank you studio for sharing your talents with us.

I LOVE that this channel allows other team members to host videos about topics they care about. It‘s fantastic.

That was both super well done, arguably one of the best videos on The Studio to date. Also, umm...did I count 5 meat-cooking devices in Andrew's backyard?

Oh man, this one brought my memories back! I'm a food technologist turned filmmaker and I can't be happier enough to see someone discussing about food tech so passionately on a relatively big tech-based YouTube channel. Thanks Mariah, and the team at The Studio.

I'm obviously biased here, but I struggle to see food/cooking automation becoming a mass market product for home cooks

In the short term, I'd argue the biggest problems that most people who don't like/don't have time/lack the skills to cook could mostly be solved with better education. This is the area where we have decided to start and build a solution for. Then when it comes to something like the cooking robot from the tiktok videos, the physical act of cooking is just one pain point. Shopping, figuring out what to make and lifestyle constraints are other problems that are highly unique to the individual. I'd have questions around:
- How much time is spent on prep?
- How adaptable is it for raising and lower temps? Can it identity doneness? Browning?
- What if I want to adjust the taste or am missing an ingredient?
- Is the food that much better/lower cost than a high quality prepackaged or frozen meal?

This is a super interesting topic and a great video. If you ever end up doing a follow-up where you test some products, maybe we could do a human vs. robot showdown!
