Only having access to neutral tones when trying to draw pictures of trees and butterflies? That's certainly sounds fun... 😬

I’m a millennial who is just now trying to decorate my (rented) flat, and the beige/neutral/grey is INESCAPABLE! I want more of a maximalist/witchy/cottagecore thing and all the shops are full of colourless stuff. People my age don’t even NEED to thrift stuff to paint grey, the shops are bursting with it! Let me thrift the nice grandma decor! I will treat it w the love it deserves 😭😂

The person who lived in my flat before me “renovated” the kitchen. Guess what colour it is. If you guessed grey, winner!! (And the work was cheap, the cabinets look terrible). I’m trying to brighten it up w yellow bumblebee/sunflower decor, but i wonder what it looked like before it got millennial-greyed

My house that I, my brothers, and parents live in, is over 100 years old. My mom painted the counters a darker blue, that’s it. And it was only because they were busted up. She didn’t touch the floors, didn’t touch the countertops, didn’t touch the walls. And THATS how your supposed to handle a historic house

Me (Gen X) and my Millenial daughter just repainted our apartment. Our kitchen is limegreen, and the living room is bright yellow. Neither one of us can stand beiges and neutrals. Bright colour makes our home look and feel bright and happy.

Also, thanks for the green tiles closeup. I totally had a full vision of how I'd decorate around them! I'm talking accessories, color gradients... So cute!

When I was a kid, my mom didn’t put the beige aesthetic. And she still doesn’t! But as a teenager, my mom has the modern look. Big house, chandelier, and others! I really enjoy it. But if i was 5 I would hate it 😅

That classroom is absolutely crazy, in the UK I’m used to classrooms being rammed full of as many tables as possible to cram in more kids but here they have tons of space to waste, a tea set, and a freakin sofa area… it’s crazy.

If we’re going to incorporate aesthetics into childrens’ learning environments, use KIDCORE out of anything because it’s colorful!!

If I renovated my house, I would make it look like a fairytale, or like 1600 European houses, I don't know why all houses from the 60s or vintage items are being ripped of their natural beauty. My soul is literally burning because of the stupidity of these people. If you renovate the whole house because you don't like it, just build or find a different one

I’m actually raging😩
IF U DONT LIKE THE LAYOUT OR WHATEVER PART OF THE HOUSE THAT MAKES IT SPECIAL DONT BUY IT!!! OTHERS WOULD KILL TO LIVE IN THOSE PRETTY VINTAGE HOUSES😭😭😭

I'll never forget when the Drake and Josh house was completely demolished and replaced with a standard generic millennial white-coloured house.

That first classroom is so feminized. It screams ‘no boys”.

6:58 That house had so much potential they could have just added modern furniture some people need to never touch paint that house will never be sold if people see what the old streetview was my heart just broke

When I was a kid, walking into my colourful classroom always inspired me and filled me with awe. It made me wish my home could look like it, I wanted my bedroom to look like it, kids LOVE colour not boring ass beige.

Seeing this video made me happy that the loveseats that I found at a local vintage shop were treated with respect. They are Victorian in style but were re-done with a white and yellow diamond pattern that is not too big or small. They look happy, unlike some of those 'makeovers.'

the mom: Oh, how is my little Katie doing?
teacher: She’s doing brilliant with learning her colours!
The mom: Okay! *lifts up toy* can you tell me what colour Elmo is?
Teacher: Oh, no, we don’t waste her time on the primary colours. But she _can_ tell the difference between rosy beige and muted orange, even I can’t do that!
the mom: … Katie, you’re moving school.
