I did love the amount of emotion we got from Optimus.

This and the first movie was the best of Optimus in the Bay films from a character standpoint. It was like watching a noble leader become a broken hero.

I wasn’t a huge fan of the movie as a whole but I loved that moment from Optimus. His shift in perspective over the series helped ground the progression for me.
