What’s the movie Transformers Age Of Extinction about?
In the famous franchise from director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes the best 'Transformers' ever! In this fourth movie, with humanity facing extinction from a terrifying new threat, it's up to Optimus Prime and the Autobots to help the entire planet and save the world. But now that the government has turned against them and hired a bounty hunter to go after them, they'll need a new team of allies. They decide to ask for the help of a mechanic inventor Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and his family for help as well as the fearsome Dinobots!

2:16 The facial expression on Optimus’s face is great. You can see the heartbreak and betrayal of how much of his friends he’s lost protecting earth. Jazz sacrificed himself to hold off Megatron and buy the humans time to get away. Optimus stopped The Fallen from destroying the Sun and bringing humanity to extinction. The humans made the mistake of believing the Decepticons would leave Earth when the Autobots did and even after the Autobots saved the humans, most of them were hunted down and killed. After all that Optimus was told to his face that he and the Autobots weren’t needed. Optimus should’ve just left after that and left the humans to fend for themselves

Why are the autobots always treated like enemies in these movies? Every time they save the world, and yet every time afterwards, humanity treats them like the enemy

This is my favorite movie in the series. The Human Race had become so arrogant over their familiarity with the Transformers. They started hunting any down, Autobot or Deception. But they loved getting Autobots because Autobots would try to flee. Prime had insisted for so long that the Autobots do what they can not to harm the humans.
And then this movie, Optimus is like "Okay, y'know what? Time to show you what we've been holding back on."

I feel really bad for Optimus you can really feel and see the heartbreak in his face at 2:16 through 2:21 this is legit heart breaking Optimus swore and dedicated to protect and fight along the same side with humans all these years and then all of a sudden the humans turn on the autobots and then slaughter and kill your team and friends and then you’re told we don’t need you anymore. It’s like being told you’re useless and a waste of their time after all the auto bots have done for the humans

Imagine adopting a whole race of beings, swearing to protect them from your own race, see the goodness in this race only to be backstabbed in the most cruel way, and having them to treat you like a goddamn afterthought. The pain in Optimus's eyes, the sadness...I would've lost my faith as well, if I were in his place.He lost so much and his motivation to keep going, aside from his Autobots, were the thought of goodness in the human race, the idea of being a part of our race. Damn, this is cruel, all of this.
