Placement of your first line on any design is the most important . Plan it out carefully . It is really easy to mess up a design, and ultimately ruin the whole haircut . If you do a zig zag pattern, start from the middle of your first design line . This is how you achieve the pointiest vertices . Learn to curve from each vertice and exaggerate line thickness . The thicker the line (on designs only) the cleaner they appear . The thicker the lines (on designs only) the detail work will become easier .
#1. Trimming overlapping hair that is covering the design lines and vertices .
#2 . Razoring the design after trimmer work will be easier to achieve with more surface area to work with .



The cleaner they appear, the longer they will last . say this from experience .
