This along with a bduds tutorial on interiors really helped me step mine up, appreciate it. I'm fairly fine with the exterior but interiors are definitely where my creativity meets an abrupt stop and a quick sky dive into a well. The trim was a really nice idea I was able to use Bee boxes for one in the living room portion of my build along with the bedroom portion and it looked quite nice and also makes for a cute raised bed drawer when facing out. The arch way also helped me break up an otherwise darker hall way with mangrove planks and stripped wood bringing some more colour in the build

Also use a lot of space per room, layering 2 to even 3 blocks thick per room can allow so much more freedom

Pro tip: Never ever EVER do this too early in a survival world, it's much more better for you to build a very simple wooden box and focus on designing it much later on

This reminds me of my old spruce Hobbit hole builds where I'd spend hours gathering resources to make these little arches made out of like trap doors which are so expensive
