Azula has to be one of those characters that you immediately hate at the beginning but start to understand what and why that character is that way. For Azula she was always the constant pressure from her father and hey envy of her friends and her brother.

This is so fitting for Azula. Her search for acceptance was the only reason why she became what she was. ATLA was my entire childhood and It's so great seeing it again. Always going to be one of my favorite shows.

This song is actually about how the person who's stopping the "other people" is really convincing herself every time she goes up there not to jump. But with the last "girl" (the one with the cardigan), she has no reason not to jump, she just gets scared and doesn't want to go through with it. She mentions a girl with braided hair, a short girl, and a girl with a yellow cardigan, and at the end of the song, she says "taking off my yellow cardigan, watching my braids all come undone, this petite girl, short as can be, is gonna jump now and be free." showing that the other people were her the whole time and she was convincing herself.

Saw this in my recommended and just had to watch it, I absolutely loved the premise with Azula as the main character, and Zuko saving her in the end was the icing on this already beautiful cake

Azula is propably one of the most misunderstood characters. All she wanted is love from her mother, but she obviously preffered Zuko
