Very good explanation as usual.
The only thing is that the expansion of (alpha +beta)^3 could also have been done by Pascal's triangle. 2:07

Very effecient!!

I was thinking you could do difference of cube because we want to find the polynomial (x-a^3)(x-b^3)=0. You could factor this expression to get gnarly)=0.

Since we know (x-a)(x-b) equals the orignal polyonmial, you could substitute and expand. I though i was pretty slick with my dofference of cube nonsense but clearly the method in the video is more efficient :)
