Best gains I've ever made were on a full body workout done on Monday and Friday. On Wednesday I like going for a brisk walk and stretch. I'm a hard gainer and don't recover fast enough between workouts. I started out on a typical 3 day a week schedule but it would leave me drained and I would eventually get sick. Lifting twice a week got me a 17" arm and a decent chest and back. I'm not very strong, don't like doing low reps. I prefer 15-20 reps and a slow, controlled rep tempo. I don't go lower than 8 reps. I recently started doing partial reps after seeing your videos, I'm noticing a big difference in how my joints feel after a workout. Thanks for sharing that.

2 full body workouts per week means you still hit each muscle group twice every 7 days. If the intensity is there, what's the issue?

Perfect answer.. Too many lazy people looking for a quick fix. I've noticed some channels catering to some of the newbie lifters, you can tell its alot of marketing, even making it look like you can go out drinking during the week and have great workouts

What about a man who's in, say, his late 50's or early 60's and his muscles need much more time for repair after the damage done from lifting weights? He's trying to build muscle and strength, but being old, he's not really in that category of someone much younger who's after that championship physique. He might well find 2 days a week more beneficial than 3, wouldn't you say?.

I 100% agree. Two days a week will never be enough. I find that when I'm in a slightly overtrained state I get the most gains. I'm 42 and never looked better in my entire life and use the principles that you discuss in your videos. Thank you!

I’m doing 3 days a week full body and if I’m not too sore I add in some auxiliaries on an off day. Will change it up in a week or so.

Way to much time off for me.   I do 3 days on 1 off then 3 then 1 off and so on that's life atm lol.    Awesome channel after 20 years of this and well powerlifting too in there for while but now back too what Loved first Bodybuilding I am still learning a ton keep up great work brother.

You guys won't ever get big lifting 2 days a week. You have to workout all the time. Get a hard job and only be at the gym lifting or at work lifting if you want to hang with the big boys

Great Video i completely agree, 2 days a week is too much resting for any real progress, besides if you truly love bodybuilding how can you stay away from the gym for so long, i do a 4 day split routine and find it hard to take that rest day since im always welll tuned and ready to Fuck up those weights!

I train 3 times a week full Body 90 minutes each. I have a good amount of muscle. Should I train 4 Times a week ? Every others day ist great In my experience.

Isnt all about volume? If You doing The same volume in 2 days split as in 3 day, what is The problem? And why You loose groove if You train every muscle group twice a week? Is all that natty needs
