I'm not blaming them, I believe you should be able to wear what you want, but for decades these communities have fostered an environment where these gangs are able to thrive. So you might want to take that into consideration when getting dressed in the morning.

Being from Ohio, and unaffiliated… this one really hit close to home. I’m a Ohio State Buckeye fan. And I also support the Cincinnati Reds. So I own TONS of red shoes. Tons.

They asked his sisters number to test his temperature, then banged on him because of his outfit, and they still decided to vacuum out the car and didn’t leave? Nothing justified the actions which took this young man’s life, but this just seems irresponsible on everybody’s behalf

I remember a similar story in Atlanta in the late 1990's. A man that was completely deaf, and only did sign language, was at a bus stop. When 3 crips approach him and asked him where he was from (according to a female witness.) They mistook is sign language as gang signs, then one of them shot and took his life smdh
