I'd really love a video on monitor calibration. I calibrated with the i1Display & it was a pretty drastic change, but no one, even the good folks who made the device, seem to be talking about the results and what to expect. It seems like a pretty big knowledge gap. Like, what is normal? Are most calibrated monitors this warm? I don't know what, if anything, you'd have to say on this, but it sure would be great to have a convo about it. Great Stuff on the channel! I bought the power grade, btw - its really cool for us to be able to support you with more than just likes & subs!

Great vid. One question when you started working on ur look are u still working in Aces or rec. 709

I noticed in the talking head portion of your videos that and even in the one you are grading that there is smooth soft diffused look. Is this from using something like a promist filter, adding film grain or reducing highlights with softkey?

What's the reason to switch to ACES? HDR, or bigger color space?

Super nice explanation. The pace is just right. You're very fluid in Davinci. However, I still don't understand the concept about "Pre-clip" and "Post-clip" after rewatching your video 3 times. Does Pre-clip affect only what's before the clip? So that means if you apply noise reduction in a pre-clip, it doesn't not remove noise in the clip section? I'm so confused.
