I think that Sierra Leone still needs to demonstrate political stability over time. The civil war was too recent and countries need time to mature and be able to provide a business environment supported by political stability and legal certainty. Too risky at this point in time.

In West Africa i'm more interested into Ivoiry Coast, Ghana and Benin. But to invest in a ECOWAS country, it can be a good plan.

Could be great for single men, who may want to get away from it all. Got the sun, beach, nice houses, fresh food and fruits, got your WIFI, help whenever you need. Maybe not much to do socially, pretty sure you can create a project to inspire the locals or get involved in a good cause if you want. Small heaven exist in unexpected places. Giving into fear is dumb.

Just food for thought, wouldn’t Cape Verde be the best west African country citizenship to go for out of all the ECOWAS members? Since it’s a tiny small island country of 4000 sqkm off of the coast of the continent. With a small population and yet their passport will grant you free access to other membership countries of ECOWAS

There's merit in what you say...I live in a BRICS country so don't want to sound hypercritical....but African countries are inheritietly unstable and vervitenly racial and weighted against foreigners! There are other gold, purchases, storage, and payment platforms all in one that will double your purchase in 36m. There's no storage charges..they pay you! When you want to sell your physical gold..its done by tokenisation in crypto and available in 140 countries. Yes, albeit you don't get the visa..but it gives me diversity and spendabilty that brings peace of mind to someone who actually lives in Africa!

Africa especially country like Cote d'Ivoire( Ivory Coast ) is a place to come to live and invest in the sectors such as : mining, manufacturing, agro-industry and real estate. Since I left the USA 6 years ago to move to Cote d'Ivoire, that was the best decision in my life.
The country is relatively safe, and it is economically growing. Many multinational companies especially from China, Turkiye, India, Italy, Russia etc are massively investing in the country. Another important thing to know about Cote d'Ivoire: it has the largest population of immigrants / "expats" on the entire African continent. About 15% of people living in Cote d'Ivoire are non-Ivorian citizens.

The gold investment is fine. Sierra Leone needs Western entrepreneurs and investors. They should abandon the fees and paperwork headaches and offer citizenship.
